Author Nic Stone To Visit Romeoville Athletic Center

ROMEOVILLE, IL — New York Times bestselling author Nic Stone will pay a visit to the Romeoville Athletic Center. The event, held by Valley View School District, Fountaindale Public Library and White Oak Library District, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 22.
Stone is the author of bestselling novels like "Clean Getaway," "Dear Martin," and "Odd One Out."
Stone will also be speaking to all Valley View students in sixth through 12th grade during the school day, Technology Coach Wendy Streit said. White Oak Library District has also held book discussions of Stone's work over the past few weeks.

The event is free and open to all community members, according to the district. Seating is limited to 500 people; and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. There will be concessions at the event, as well as a raffle and prizes.
Stone's books will be available for purchase, and the author will be signing the books as well.
