Board Set to Vote on Parking Lot Project, Fence Installation

The Romeoville Village Board is slated to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at , 1050 W. Romeo Road.

Here’s a look at what’s on the agenda:

• Trustees will vote on a proposed $83,213 contract for the resurfacing of the west Romeoville Recreation Center parking lot. The proposal asks trustees to waive the public bidding process for the project and award the contract to Romeoville-based Orange Crush LLC.
• Also up for a vote: A deal with Northwest Cedar Products to install a six-foot vinyl fence along sections of Normantown, Dalhart and Veterans Parkway.
• Finally, trustees are slated to vote on a request from Mistwood Golf Course to allow the developer to begin mass grading improvements and erosion control at the Renwock Road golf course. Under the proposal, the work would be undertaken “at the developer’s own risk.”
