It also appears he could operate police lights in his vehicle.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook man was charged with multiple drug offenses after deputies with the Will County Sheriff’s Office found a meth lab in his home.

Antonio S. David, 52, of the 500 block of Larkspur in Bolingbrook, was charged with armed violence, possession of drug equipment, possession of syringes/needles, possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession/delivery of methamphetamine, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

Police traveled to David’s Larkspur address Sept. 15 to serve a Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad warrant for two counts of delivery of methamphetamine. David wasn’t home at the time but deputies were told by a relative that he would be home shortly.

After waiting down the street, deputies saw David pull up toward his home in a Chevy Camaro and pulled him over.

While running the registration on the Camaro, deputies found that the registration did not match that vehicle. Before the Camaro was towed a search was conducted. Located inside was a US Marshals badge, fraudulent identification, four cell phones, three handguns, a loaded magazine, laptops/tablets, a tactical bag with a SWAT patch and a GPS, the WCSO said. Deputies also found a suspicious switch in the console with wiring attached to the back of the vehicle. Deputies believed that this switch appeared consistent with placing police lights on a vehicle.

At David’s home, a family member gave deputies permission to search in order to verify there were no more police items. In the basement of the home was a meth lab, according to the WCSO.

After obtaining a warrant, deputies and other responding agencies found several security cameras inside and outside the residence, several computers and laptops, drug equipment, two rifles, two handguns, various calibers of live ammunition and a large amount of cash. David possesses a valid conceal carry permit.

He is being held at the Will County Adult Detention Facility on an $865,000 bond with 10 percent to apply.
