Bowl With The Pros: Brunswick Offers Public Camp

Brunswick Bowling is offering the chance to roll with the pros. Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville will be hosting a bowling camp and Pro-Am with PBA professionals like Sean Rash, Parker Bohn III and Chuck Gardner, among others.

August 15-17 the center will provide guests a rare view into the tactics and techniques of professional athletes.

During the camp, bowlers will enjoy three coaching sessions and a Pro-Am, as well as three new bowling balls, a coaching manual, video analysis, lane play insights and other information for improvement. F

or those just looking to test their skills against the PBA pros, entry into the Pro-Am is available without participation in the camp.

“We are excited to be hosting the Sean Rash Bowling Camp for the third year,” said Romeoville’s Service Manager, Ross Carmody. “It's amazing to see how quickly bowlers improve with the Brunswick Pro Staff helping them. They help with both the physical and mental game.”

Rash, an eight-time winner on the PBA tour, will be coming home to Illinois to participate in the camp. The 31-year-old right-hander grew up in Alaska, but currently resides in Montgomery.

He has bowled 16 perfect games since joining the pro circuit, and was named the 2011-2012 PBA Player of the Year.

“The Brunswick Bowling Camp staff is excited to be coming to Illinois to help improve people’s game. We are bowling and we love to make it better,” said Rash.
