Burglary Reported At Romeoville Gas Station: Police

Several items were stolen during a burglary early Monday, police said.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Several items were stolen from a Romeoville gas station in a burglary early Monday, according to Romeoville Police.

Officers were sent to a gas station in the 400 block of New Avenue at 2:42 a.m. Monday for an alarm, police said. When they arrived, officers for a broken glass window to the business.

Police said surveillance videos were reviewed and showed a newer model white SUV/crossover pull into the parking lot. One person got out of the car and broke the window, allowing all three male offenders to enter the building through the broken window, police said.

Several items were stolen, and the suspects fled in the same vehicle, police said.

The suspects were responsible for several burglaries in Will County on the same night, according to police. The vehicle used in the incident was stolen from outside of Will County.
