Car Seat Check Event Planned In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL — If you're an expecting parent, or maybe just want a refresher on car seat installation, the Romeoville Fire Department will hold a free car seat check event on Sept. 24 as part of Child Passenger Safety Week.

The drive-thru event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 24 at Romeoville Fire Station No. 3, 698 N. Birch Lane.

According to the village, certified car seat technicians will inspect car seats for citizens for free at the event.
