Celebrate National S'Mores Day At Isle A La Cache

ROMEOVILLE, IL — If you love s'mores, the Island Hike and S'mores event at Isle a la Cache is for you.

The event will celebrate National S'Mores Day on Aug. 10, and will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Romeoville preserve, 501 E. Romeo Road.

The free event is for all ages, but you must register by Aug. 7.

According to the preserve, the event will include a campfire at Isle a la Cache, where you can make yourself a s'more, or enjoy a night hike around the island.

Guests can bring camp chairs or blankets, as well as their own treats to roast, the preserve said.
