Collection Drive to Benefit Media Center at Romeoville HS
The donations will be exchanged for money that will be used for library materials and services.

Romeoville High School’s Library Media Center needs gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, books, linens and small household items that will be donated to a thrift retailer in exchange for money that will be used for library materials and services.
The community donation days are Thursday, Nov. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 6 from 8 to 11 a.m. Donors should enter through Door 15 on the south side of RHS.

Acceptable items include hats, mittens, scarves, ties, socks, purses, wallets, backpacks, bags, all types of clothing, toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, pots, pans, utensils, china cups, vases, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware, stemware, jewelry, crafts, mugs, candles, picture frames, baskets, ornaments, hand tools, hard cover and paperback books, magazines, records, tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs, computer software, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains and tablecloths.
Also: small electrical toasters, radios, power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, stereos, CD players, speakers, DVD and VCR players, table lamps, floor lamps, humidifiers, bicycles, golf accessories, garden tools, sports equipment, exercise equipment and skis.

The items will be given to Savers, a global thrift retailer that helps nonprofit organizations by paying them for donated goods they collect.
