Desktop Printers, Tires and Nicotine Gum Stolen: Romeoville Blotter
Arrests and incidents occurred between Oct. 9 and Oct. 19

Oct. 9
A retail theft was reported in the 0-100 block of Alexander Circle. Someone took a case of beer with a value of $20.06 from the business.

Oct. 10
A criminal damage to property was reported in the 1000 block of Schmidt Road. Someone scratched the paint on a vehicle that was in the parking lot. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $1,000.

Oct. 11
A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Farragut. Four tires and rims were taken by someone from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost of the items taken is $800.
Oct. 12
A theft over $500 and a criminal damage to property were reported in the 100 block of South Pinnacle. Six desktop printers were taken and a fence was damaged by someone. The printers have a total value of $1080.00. The damage to the fence is estimated at $150.00.
Oct. 15
A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of North Weber Road. Three unknown people took face cream, nicotine gum and gift bags with a total value of $1247.78 from the business.
Oct. 17
Anthony Prince, 29, of Cicero, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Weber.
A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 0-100 block of North Paragon. Someone damaged signs and a doorframe at the property. Estimated cost to remove the graffiti is $350.
A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of William Drive. Someone took a cell phone charger from the parked, unlocked vehicle.
A retail theft was reported in the 300 block of South Weber Road. Two unknown people took an iPhone valued at $769.99 from the business.
Oct. 19
Walid Hajali, 23, of the 500 block of Susan St. in Romeoville, was charged with a protection order violation. The arrest occurred in the 1700 block of Fiddyment.
