A police officer was reportedly sent to Silver Cross that night to check out a call of a man making a scene. When he got there, the officer was told “Sanfilippo was attempting to access restricted areas of the hospital and when asked to leave he fought with security personnel,” police said.

Sanfilippo was taken to the Will County jail and five days later was still there. His bond was set at $25,000.
