Disney Channel Star to Be Lewis' KidzFest Headliner

Child actor Aedin Mincks, best known for his recurring role on the Disney Channel's A.N.T. Farm show, will be the celebrity guest at this year's KidzFest, held in downtown Joliet on Aug. 4 and sponsored by 's .

Mincks, 11, who currently has a role in the recently released movie Ted, will meet fans, sign autographs and have his photo taken from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown , 150 N. Ottawa St.

Mincks' parents lived in for several years before Aedin was born in Georgia. The family, including Aedin, also lived in Somonauk, Ill., for several years before relocating to California. 

KidzFest is an annual event that features children-oriented activities, including arts and crafts, sports, face-painting, stations on topics such as health, business and chemistry, and games that test math skills and memory.
