Dogs Perish in Romeoville Fire
Three residents escaped, but lost pets in Wednesday morning fire.
Three people were able to escape unhurt, but two dogs died in a fire that caused heavy damage to a Romeoville home early Wednesday.
The fire was reported at 6:52 a.m. in the 200 block of Karen Avenue, a Romeoville fire official told the Herald-News.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation Wednesday afternoon.
