DUIs, Fleeing and Eluding, Illegal Sound Amplification: Romeoville Blotter

Romeovile-area arrests.

Robert Walton, 26, of 2701 E. 75th Place, Chicago, was arrested at 4:03 a.m. Jan. 15 near Weber Road and Grand Haven Boulevard on charges of DUI and improper lane use.

James Wise, 29, of 3009 Horton St., Rockford, was arrested at 1:46 p.m. Jan. 20 in the area of Weber and Romeo Roads on charges of no valid license, no insurance, illegal use of cell phone, no seat belt and illegal sound amplification.

Paul Busch, 57, of 70 Abbeywood Drive, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. Jan. 21 in the area of Dalhart and Normantown on charges of DUI, improper lane use and no insurance.

Anthony Puente, 22, of 2333 Walnut St., Blue Island, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. Jan. 27 at Romeo Road and Belmont on charges of fleeing and eluding, resisting an officer, driving on a suspended license, improper lane use, disobeying a stop sign and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Several juveniles -- a 17-year-old and two 16-year-olds -- were arrested at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the 200 block of Hemlock for allegedly violating curfew. A 15-year-old was also arrested for resisting and violating curfew, and a 16-year-old was charged with assault, resisting an officer, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with curfew violation.
