Diversity theater group to visit April 5 at Lewis University

Lewis University is hosting the diversity theater group called “hereandnow” at 7 p.m. on April 5 in the Sancta Alberta Chapel located on the University’s main campus in Romeoville. This event is free of charge and open to the public.

The group will perform skits about Asian American culture. From humble beginnings at East Los Angeles College, hereandnow has grown in the size of its cast which has toured more than 200 different colleges, theatres and festivals since 1990. The collective voices of its diverse cast are used to reach out to audiences through a universal theme, as everyone comes from a unique experience with a story to tell.

Multicultural Student Services and South Asian Student Association are co-sponsoring the performance at Lewis University. For additional information, please contact Ken Smith, assistant director of multicultural student services, at (815) 836-5331.
