Four Candidates Vying for Three Spots on District 202 School Board
Two of three incumbents have filed for the April 7, 2015 race.

Four candidates have filed to run for three open seats on the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District Board of Education in the April 7, 2015 election.
According to the Will County Clerk’s office, incumbents Greg Nichols and Kevin Kirberg, along with Plainfield residents Heather Drake and Sharlyne P. Williams, had entered the race as the filing period ended Monday.
Board president Roger Bonuchi, whose term is also set to expire in April, did not file for re-election, according to the clerk’s office.

The board is also seeking to fill a seat left vacant by the resignation of board member William Dargan Jr. last week.
Through Jan. 10, the board is accepting applications from those interested in serving out the remainder of Dargan’s term, which expires in 2017.
