Free Breakfast, Lunch Available For Valley View Students

The free meals are limited to on-site learners, and meals must be eaten on-site as well, the district said.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Valley View students will be able to access free breakfast and lunch for the 2021-22 school year due to extended nutrition waivers by the Department of Agriculture, according to the district.

The free meals are limited to on-site learners, and meals must be eaten on-site as well, the district said. To-go meals are not available as part of this program.

Students do not need a Household Meal Application to receive the free meals. However, the district encouraged the applications, as participation in the program for those who qualify applies to the waiver or reduction of some student fees, the district said.
