Gas Leak: 135th Street Closed After Contractors Hit Gas Line
Weber road is open and there is no immediate danger to residents.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — According to an alert sent out by the Village of Romeoville Wednesday, May 6 afternoon, 135th Street has been closed between Weber Road and Joliet Junior College after contractors hit a gas line, causing a leak.
Nicor Gas and emergency personnel are on the scene. There is no immediate danger to residents. Weber Road remains open.
