Meet Duke - a 7-year-old, male, purebred beagle dog available for adoption.

This sweet fella likes laying next to you on the couch to relax, and LOVES snuggling under the blankets. He does get his daily walk, but seems like he prefers his couch-potato status over exercise.

Toys don't seem to interest him too much; he's more of a "lump of a loving companion." Duke is also good with other dogs as well as cats. He may be a bit shy at first, otherwise he is social and friendly even around large groups of people. And as any dog does, Duke appreciates a dog bone as a treat.

No accidents in the house for this guy - he is wonderful about doing his business outside. He is also not a barker, only when the doorbell rings. Duke is a very good boy and isn't destructive when left alone and uncrated, but his foster does crate him on occasion to get him used to it should his forever family wish to use the crate when they are not home; he's not crazy about it, but will go in the crate with no problems (just a few sad looks to try to talk you out of it).
