ROMEOVILLE, IL — Goodwill will be opening its first outlet store in the Chicago area in Romeoville on Wednesday, at 1343 Enterprise Drive, according to the company.
The company said the new outlet store will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Donations are not accepted at outlet locations.
According to the company, the outlet store has most items priced by the pound. Over 100 large tables are rotated throughout the day, and are filled with clothing, shoes, home goods, toys and more.

A Goodwill Outlet is different from a traditional Goodwill store, according to the company. The items that don't sell at the stores are shipped to the outlet for one last chance at being sold.
Goodwill only has two other outlets; one in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and one in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.
