Gun Stolen From Car, Brakes Disconnected: Romeoville PD Reports
Recent Romeoville police reports.

Oct. 14: A residential burglary and burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 9:55 a.m. in the 800 block of Ontario. An unknown person entered an open garage and took a Kindle from an unlocked vehicle. A charge for movies was attempted on the stolen Kindle but was not approved.
Oct. 18: A theft over $500.00 was reported at 1:35 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Hanger Road. Unknown person(s) took a tow dolly valued at $7,000 from the business.
Oct. 19: A criminal damage to property was reported at 6:07 a.m. in the 1100 block of Remington. Unknown person(s) disconnected the brake line on a vehicle and put white paint in the fluid reservoir.

Oct. 21: A theft under $500 was reported at 8:41 p.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber. An unknown person took a person from a shopping cart while the owner of the purse was loading her vehicle.
Oct. 25: A burglary from motor was reported at 5:40 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Arborwood Court. Unknown person(s) took a handgun from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence.
