Health Inspection Report: China House

ROMEOVILLE, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited China House Oct. 12 for a routine inspection, which is the most recent report available. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 84 and then a corrected score of 94 once immediate fixes were made.

Some of the items out of compliance were:

• Food in freezer and walk-in cooler not labeled.
• Food stored in cans. It should be stored in washable containers.
• Food stored on shelf with clean glasses.

China House is located at 44 S. Weber in Romeoville.
