Health Inspection Report: Mongo McMichaels

ROMEOVILLE, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited Mongo McMichaels June 20 for a routine inspection. It received a sanitation score of 79/100 and a corrected score of 84 once immediate fixes were made.

Some items out of compliance were:

• Tomato sauce stored in can. (It should be stored in washable container.)
• Bags of onions on floor in walk-in cooler.
• Inside microwave soiled.
• To-go cup used as sugar scoop.
• Soda nozzle soiled.
• Missing floor tiles behind bar.
