Helicopter Landing Planned Thursday For Romeoville Youth Camp

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A medical helicopter will land near Fire Station No. 2 around 1 p.m. Thursday as part of the fire department's youth fire camp, according to a notification from the Village.

The landing at the station, near Enterprise and Anton, will depend on weather and availability.

According to the village, campers will be touring the vehicle and seeing how patients are loaded and secured for transport to the hospital. Fire Station No. 1, at Montrose and Camden, will be used as an alternate landing site.
