High School Football: Romeoville Puts Playoff Hopes on the Line

Some old friends and long-time neighbors will get reacquainted during a Southwest Suburban Prairie Conference football matchup on Friday night that comes with playoff implications at work on both sides of the ball.

Romeoville (3-3, 2-2) plays at Plainfield East (4-2, 2-2) as the two look to emerge from a four-way tie for third place in the conference race and remain in the thick of the playoff hunt. The Spartans will be looking to rebound from a 33-19 loss to Plainfield North.

Plainfield East was blanked 20-0 by Oswego on Oct. 4.
