Romeoville is once again offering the Veteran & Service Member Banner Program, a way to remember, honor, or thank a veteran in your life with double-sided vinyl banner that will be displayed on the light poles in front of Village Hall May - Nov.

The banners are 24” x 62” double-sided vinyl that will be displayed on the light poles in front of Village Hall May - Nov. A new banner is $45, renewal banners are $20 and must be in good condition to be hung again. Orders must be received and paid for in person at Village Hall by January 1st of each year. Only 40 banners will be hung per year and, at the end of November, the banner will be given to the individuals who purchased them. Additional banners for home use can be purchased for $45 each. There is a one pole per household, per year limit. First time applicants will get priority over returning applicants. Part of the proceeds of this program will go towards the Veterans Commission scholarship fund as well as paying for veterans’ assistance programs.

To qualify for the program, the veteran must be a current resident of Romeoville or, if deceased, had previously lived in Romeoville. Click here for all the qualifications.
