Hospital to Pay $500,000 for Romeoville Athletic Center Naming Rights
Board to vote Wednesday on five-year deal.

Romeoville trustees are scheduled to vote Wednesday an a five-year agreement that would give Naperville’s Edward Hospital naming rights to the new Romeoville Athletic and Events Center, 55 Phelps Ave.
Under the $500,000 agreement, the center would be renamed the “Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center.” It would also mean that the hospital would have the option to lease 1,660 square feet of the facility as a physical therapy center.
The Edward physical therapy logo would also appear on one of the center’s portable basketball courts, according to village documents.

In addition, Edward Hospital would be able to use the entire center at no additional cost two times per year for pre-planned events.
The village would receive annual payments of $100,000 for the next five years.
