How Many Concealed Carry Gun Permits Were Issued in Your County?

As of July, about 69,000 concealed carry permits have been issued in Illinois since early spring.

Illinois was the last state in the nation to legalize concealed carry after a federal appeals court in December 2012 struck down a ban that prohibited doing so.

We’ve broken down data from the Chicago Sun-Times to show you which 25 counties have the highest and lowest percentage of residents with concealed carry permits, including thenumber of permit holders in each county.
