"The exhibit's theme is 'Art in Nature' and is apropos to the location. Isle a la Cache Museum is a beautiful space and a treasure to the Romeoville community!"
Jelic encourages everyone to take time to visit the show.
"The exhibit showcases the diversity of art mediums and artists," she said in a release. "And our traveling miniature art gallery will be back again this year. Visitors can take a piece of art and/or create and leave a piece of art. We hope to inspire everyone – young and old – to make more art!"
Guest said the traveling art gallery was a popular addition to the exhibit last year, and she expects it to be again this year.
“This is an interactive display case that encourages artists of all ages to create, share and trade art,” Guest said in a release.
Art a la Cache will be available for viewing during museum hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Registration is not required for the free, all-ages exhibit.
