“Jeop-Birdy for Adults and for Families are two 'Jeopardy' style programs that allow people to show off their bird knowledge while still learning something new,” said Jenna Krukowski, an interpretive naturalist at the museum. “Everyone learns differently, and sometimes that is in a quick quiz-style format.”

Participants don’t need to be bird experts to enjoy the program, she added.

“From what you see and hear in your backyard to what you see and hear on TV, birds are everywhere and you recognize more than you realize,” Krukowski said.

She hopes the programs will also inspire visitors to explore the preserves.

“Go for a hike around the island and then come play games and have some laughs with new friends,” she said. “What a wonderful way to spend your day!”
