Joliet Man Told to Stay Out of New Lenox Target Comes Back, Gets Arrested: Police

A Joliet man banned from the New Lenox Target showed up at the East Lincoln Highway superstore anyway and got arrested for it, police said.

Christian Blackwell, 23, was caught in the Target about 6:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving and charged with trespassing.

An “officer was dispatched to Target in reference to a complaint of Trespassing,” police said. “The officer met with security at the store and learned that a customer inside had been previously advised that he was banned from Target.”

That customer turned out to be Blackwell and he was taken into custody, police said. Blackwell was released after he posted bond.
