Basic Carpentry (LLC 5148)

Feeling comfortable and using tools correctly are at the core of carpentry. This basic carpentry class will teach students how to use a tape measure and speed square to lay out a wall for projects, like remodeling a basement. Topics will include the difference between a stud, a joist and a rafter and the correct fasteners that are critical to holding things together. Learn the do’s and the don’ts in this great hands-on class.
