Leave Fireworks To The Pros, Romeoville Police Say In Video
The department's community oriented policing unit encourages residents to celebrate 4th of July safely.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville's Community Oriented Policing division shared a video this week reminding residents to celebrate the 4th of July safely by leaving fireworks to the pros. All consumer fireworks are illegal to purchase and use in the State of Illinois — only novelty items like sparklers, snakes/glow-worm pellets and trick noisemakers are legal for the average resident to use.
