Lewis University - ELS Language Center

Host families needed for the ELS Language Center at Lewis University. Compensation up to $1,300 per month.

ROMEOVILLE— The ELS Language Center at Lewis University is currently looking for families that would be interested in hosting an international student in their home for a minimum stay of four weeks. Families are needed for March, April and May. They will receive compensation from ELS for welcoming a student into their home.

The ELS Language Center, located in Mother Theresa Hall of the Romeoville Campus, helps international students improve their English and academic skills before beginning full-time university study at Lewis University. Many of the students live in the residence halls on campus, but some are interested in the kindness and warmth of an American family.

To host a student, ELS requires that the home be within 45 minutes of campus and that the student has a private bedroom and is provided two meals a day. ELS will compensate the host family monthly to offset expenses.
