ROMEOVILLE, IL — For the third consecutive year, the American Association for Men in Nursing (AAMN) has recognized Lewis University as one of the Best Schools for Men in Nursing, according to a release from the university.

The honor was bestowed upon Lewis University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences during the 46th Annual AAMN Conference in October.

The AAMN reviewers summarized, “Lewis University continues to demonstrate strong support for men in nursing. The LAMP mentorship program is a strong example of how nursing students can benefit from the experience of male alumni that serve as formal and informal mentors. The university has a strong strategic plan for recruiting and hiring male faculty that can provide input into course development and to serve as role models to male students.
