Lewis University’s 2018-2019 Philip Lynch Theatre Season: Chase the Dream!

ROMEOVILLE— The five main stage productions start with the Disney fishy fable that will capture your heart “under the sea,” The Little Mermaid. The fall opens with Christopher Durang’s 2013 Tony Award winner for best play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. The PLT season continues with the hilarious cross dressing farce, Leading Ladies by Ken Ludwig, followed by Neil Simon’s heartfelt comedy winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Broadway Bound. Finishing the season is the story that upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan becomes The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan), Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice, based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
