Library Invites Teens to Eat Bugs
White Oak Library will serve up edible insects at its "Teen Tasters" event on March 21.

LOCKPORT, IL -- Teenagers hungry for something new are invited to the White Oak Library District's "Teen Tasters: Bug Edition" event, set for 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Lockport branch, 121 E. 8th St.
"This month will will be eating bugs," the library said in a news release. Teens will be invited to try "lots of zany flavors" and vote for their favorite. "We will try several edible bug snacks -- if you're brave enough," library staff said.
The event is open to students in grades six to 12.
