ROMEOVILLE, IL — Rita Dianni-Kaleel's "Lifethread" exhibit will be on display until Aug. 11 at Lewis University's Brent and Jean Wadsworth Family Gallery, according to a release from the university.

The exhibit is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and is free and open to the public.

The series, “Lifethread,” is Dianni-Kaleel's personal journey, meant to be interpreted by the viewer so that he or she can create their own story, the university said.

“From early beginnings, the arts have been the common denominator of communication, reaching across borders of understanding, to share the experiences of our lives. All of nature struggles for survival in their individual ‘worlds.’ Therefore, abstract/realism is also presented in ‘Lifethread,’” Dianni-Kaleel said in a release.

Lewis' Department of Art and Design manages the Wadsworth Family Gallery events, which include Lewis University student shows, local and regional artist shows, annual high school exhibits, faculty shows, academic-based exhibitions and cultural and religious-based art shows.
