Lewis University's student-run radio station, WLRA, will play holiday music through Jan. 1.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — With Christmas Day now less than a month away, you can listen to holiday music 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Lewis University's student-run radio station, WLRA-FM.
According to a release from the university, the holiday music started the day after Thanksgiving and will run through Jan. 1. Listeners can tune in via radio at 88.1 FM, online or on iTunes, Google Play and iHeartRadio.
The radio station plays the holiday music to benefit the United Way of Will County, according to a release. Instead of commercials, WLRA plays brief public service announcements about United Way agencies in Will County. The local nonprofit raises money to support human care services provided by other local nonprofit agencies.
