Lukancic Wins Valley View's STEMcathlon

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Lukancic Middle School's STEM Team came out on top at the 2023 Valley View School District Middle School STEMcathlon, according to a release from the District.

Valley View's five middle schools: Lukancic, A. Vito Martinez, Brooks, Humphrey and Jane Addams participated in the event at Romeoville High School.

Lukancic was the only team among the five schools to place in the top three in four of the five events, while winning the Ski Jump competition, the district said.

A. Vito Martinez placed second, and Brooks Middle School placed third at the STEMcathlon.
