Elderly Man Dies After Car Strikes Tree in Romeoville
Authorities believe the man suffered cardiac arrest.

An elderly Bolingbrook man was killed in a one-car crash early Thursday in Romeoville.
Romeoville police said 77-year-old Mohinder Singh died after his 2004 Jaguar left the roadway and struck a tree on northbound Weber Road north of Lakeview Drive at around 6 a.m. Police believe Singh suffered a cardiac arrest prior to the crash.

Singh was taken to Amita Health Adventist Medical Center in Bolingbrook, where he was pronounced dead.
Cmdr. John Ferdinardo said investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
