Man Shot To Death Inside Car: Romeoville Police
Police said the gunshot that killed Lee was fired from inside the vehicle, and that the shooting is an isolated incident.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A 24-year-old man died from a gunshot fired inside his vehicle on Wednesday, Romeoville Police said. Police were called to Taylor Road west of Weber Road at 10:05 p.m. for a report of a person who was shot, police said.
Officers were then told the car had driven to the 1700 block of Autumn Woods Lane in Romeoville, according to police. They found a man, identified as Dennis Lee, of Romeoville, with a gunshot wound in the front passenger area of the vehicle, police said.
Officers began life-saving measures until paramedics arrived. Lee was taken to Adventist Hospital in Bolingbrook where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
