Motorcyclist Dead in Romeoville Crash

Incident is still under investigation by the Romeoville Police Department.

The motorcyclist in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Romeoville has died, according to the Will County Coroner’s Office.

Pamela S. Jimenez, 58, died at 2:17 p.m. at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

The Romeoville Police Department responded to the accident at the intersection of Weber Road and Grand Blvd. at about 1:52 p.m. May 18.

A Saturn driven by 82-year-old Helen Anderson from Plainfield collided with a motorcycle driven by Jimenez, a resident of Romeoville. Anderson was cited for failure to yield turning left.

Anderson was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Her injuries were not considered critical, The Herald-News reports.
