A musical McTeacher's Night at the NEW Romeoville McDonald's
Romeoville High School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the new Romeoville McDonald's to raise funds for their upcoming Disney trip
On Tuesday, December 1st, Romeoville High School held an extremely successful McTeacher’s Night at the NEW McDonald’s in Romeoville on Independence Blvd. The new McDonald’s was full of families supporting the school and waiting to see the Chicago Bears Drum Line and a special performance by Romeoville High School Percussion Ensemble led by percussion director Adam Hill.Teachers and band booster parents took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the band. The McTeacher jobs included; greeters, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers selling pies, and teachers and students in a pie costume. There were even teachers singing for tips. Romeoville High School had it all covered, and the families and students all had a great time. The School plans to use the money raised to go into the music boosters fund to support the trip next winter to Disney where the band will perform. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the NEW Romeoville McDonald’s. McTeacher Hill even let kids that bought 10 pies, give him a pie in the face. A special appearance by the Chicago Bears Drum Line and RHS percussion Ensemble made this a very memorable evening. Special thank you goes to Romeoville HS Music teacher/director of percussion, Adam Hill, who organized the entire event. It was a great night! McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the NEW Romeoville McDonald’s owner/operator, Marvin Spence.
