A Musical Night at the NEW Romeoville McDonald's

Lukancic Middle School holds a successful McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the NEW Romeoville McDonald's to raise money for the band

On Wednesday, October 21st, Lukancic Middle School held an extremely successful McTeacher’s Night at the NEW McDonald’s in Romeoville on Independence Blvd., to raise money for the band. The new McDonald’s was full of families supporting the school and waiting to hear all the special performances by Lukancic band students.Teachers literally took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the band. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers selling pies, and teachers in a pie costume. There were even teachers singing for tips. The band plans to use the money raised to purchase t-shirts for the band trip to Tennessee in May. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the NEW Romeoville McDonald’s. McTeacher Horn wore the PIE costume almost the whole night and worked very hard with McTeacher Zabala at his side. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald and Lukancic band students made this a very memorable evening. McPrincipal Rollerson came out to support the band students as well. Special thank you goes to Sue Moore, the Band Booster President, who organized the entire event. It was a great night! McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the NEW Romeoville McDonald’s owner/operator, Marvin Spence.
