Nature Foundation Hosts Summer Plant Presale At Isle a la Cache
Enjoy, food, music and more during the presale event on July 28. Tickets can be ordered on the Foundation's website, willcountynature.org.

The Nature Foundation of Will County is throwing a fundraising plant party with food, music and plenty of summer blooming plants to refresh your garden.
The Summer Blooms Gathering and Presale is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Isle a la Cache preserve in Romeoville. Tickets are $35 per person or $60 for two. Tickets can be purchased on the Foundation's website.
Proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the Forest Preserve District of Will County's conservation, education and recreation programs and initiatives.

The event kicks off a weekend of pop-up plant sales from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 30, at Isle a la Cache. And it's also the weekend when those who bought plants online during the Summer Blooms Plant Sale can pick up their orders.
The Summer Blooms Gathering Presale on Friday offers attendees a chance to buy plants before the pop-up sales on Saturday and Sunday.

“It's going to be a wonderful evening,” said Cynthia Harn, the Foundation's executive director. “Not only will you have a great time, but you'll also get first crack (and special pricing) on native plants, including species that were not available online."
Presale tickets include food, drink, live music and other fun activities.
Grumpy Gaucho food truck will serve empanadas and churros. The Wine Cellar in Joliet will provide wine, and Evil Horse Brewing in Crete will serve a selection of craft beers. Lite beer and non-alcoholic beverages also will available, and there will be chilled and frozen sweet treats. Entertainment will be provided by JukeBox Heroes.
There also will be a scavenger hunt and a raffle.
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. The event will be held rain or shine.
The Foundation’s native plant sales are supported by the Foundation's Diamond and Platinum partners: Enbridge, Brent Hassert Consulting, Pizzo & Associates, Pizzo Native Plant Nursery and PuroClean of Romeoville.
