New Animal Control Building Construction To Start In Romeoville
Work will begin next month on the new Anderson Drive location.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Harbour Contractors, Inc. has been awarded the contract for the new animal control center, which will begin construction in September. The new facility will be located on Anderson Drive, just one mile north from its current location.
“This new facility will be more suitable for the animals and easier for residents to access,” said Mayor John Noak. “We are thankful for the donations that came in for this project.”
The new animal control center will feature nine kennels, two of which are designed for larger dogs, and a separate space for cats. Each kennel has a door that grants access to an outdoor kennel as well as a larger dog run for additional exercise.
