New Assistant Principal Named For RC Hill School

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Valley View School District 365U Board of Education has approved the selection of Mrs. Jennifer Duffy to the position of Assistant Principal at Robert C. Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Duffy will succeed Ms. Kathy Nigro July 1, 2018. Ms. Nigro is moving to the Assistant Principal position at Oak View Elementary School at the end of the current school year.

Mrs. Duffy is currently the Teaching and Learning Coach at R.C. Hill Elementary School and has served in
that role since 2016. She began her service in VVSD in 2005 as a fifth-grade teacher at Wood View
Elementary School.

Mrs. Duffy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana
Champaign in Human Development and Family Studies. She continued her education by earning a Master
of Education in Instructional Leadership/Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Ms. Duffy earned her second master’s degree in Instructional Leadership/Education from Concordia
University.
