New Citgo Station in the Works

After closing last winter, a new Citgo gas station is scheduled to open at New Avenue and 135th Street.

Ahmad Zahdan, the new owner of the station at 415 New Ave., brought a concept plan for a new station at the site before the village board last week. Planned improvements include landscaping, installing new signs, parking lot repairs and repainting of existing structures, according to village documents.

The 2,086-square-foot station has four fuel pumps and has 13 parking spaces.
