New Jimmy John's Opening This Summer In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A new Jimmy John's location in Romeoville is anticipated to open this summer, the Village shared on its Facebook page.

Plans for the sandwich shop, at 310 Independence Blvd., were approved last year by the Romeoville Village Board. The new location is 1,200 square feet, and also offers a drive-thru.

Originally planned for an early 2023 opening, the stand-alone store was built from the ground-up. Asphalt for the parking lot was installed earlier this week, according to the Village.

Jimmy John's offers sub sandwiches, and has locations across the Chicago area. There is another Jimmy John's location in Romeoville at 381 S. Weber Road.
