No Injuries After Crash On I-55 Near Route 53: Police

ROMEOVILLE, IL — No one was injured in a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 55 near Route 53, Illinois State Police said.

The right lane was closed early Tuesday for emergency equipment, and the crash was relocated to the right shoulder, according to police.

Police said the front end of a Jeep struck the rear end of a semi-truck's trailer at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported at the scene.
